Somfy Protect app issues

I just installed my Somfy Home Alarm system, everything seems to be okay apart from the app. Launching the app it will complain that I'm not connected to the internet, when I clearly am (I've tried this with both WiFi and 4g), and when I do sign in I'm confronted with a pointless error message telling me an error occurred (what error?).

If I then go to another app and return to Somfy Protect, I usually find the app has signed me out, forcing me to enter a password in again.

This isn't the easy to use system I was expecting it to be so far.

Also worth noting, my internet is extremely fast, nearly 300mbs down and 50mbs up. I'm not seeing a slow down elsewhere, just with this app.
