When I launch the Somfy Protect mobile app, different screens are displayed.

Home screen:

If I have never identified myself and never created a 4-digit code. I see the first screen:

  • I can install the Somfy Home Alarm
  • I can install the Somfy Security Camera
  • I can install the Somfy One/One+
  • I can identify myself
  • I can accept an invitation (received by e-mail)
  • I can obtain more information

Connection screen:

If I want to identify myself from the home screen:

  • I can enter my credentials if I already have them
  • If I enter an incorrect e-mail/password pair three times consecutively, I can no longer attempt to identify myself for one hour; after one hour, I have another three attempts
    If the e-mail/password pair is correct, I am redirected:

    • towards a screen asking me to create my site, if I have already created my account
    • towards a screen asking me to install my first equipment if I have created my site but have not yet installed any equipment
    • towards the dashboard if my system is already correctly installed
    • I can recover my password if I have forgotten it
    • I can return to the home screen

    Automatic identification without the 4-digit code:
    If I have already identified myself at least once and I have not yet created a 4-digit code, I am automatically redirected:

    • towards a screen asking me to create my site, if I have already created my account
    • towards a screen asking me to install my first equipment if I have created my site but have not yet installed any equipment
    • towards a screen asking to continue the installation if I quit installation during the process last time
    • towards the dashboard if my system is already correctly installed

    Automatic identification with the 4-digit code:
    If I have created a 4-digit protective code in the “My account” settings, I see a page asking me to enter my code:
    If I enter an incorrect code 3 times consecutively, I am returned to the identification page
    If the code is correct, I am redirected:

    • towards a screen asking me to create my site, if I have already created my account
    • towards a screen asking me to install my first equipment if I have created my site but have not yet installed any equipment
    • towards the dashboard if my system is already correctly installed

    Accept an invitation received:
    If I want to accept an invitation received from the home screen:

    • I can enter my credentials if I already have a Somfy Protect account
    • I can create an account</p><p>I am then automatically redirected towards the system’s main screen to which I have been invited.
